    NRSB-11 - Commodified (2 x LP, Reissue)

    £27.98

The official sales note and PR are fairly enigmatic and mysterious out of respect for the wishes of the artists, but it's fairly widely shared public knowledge that NRSB-11 is primarily a collaboration between Gerald Donald (Drexciya, Dooplereffekt, Arpanet, Japanese Telecom and many more) and DJ Stingray 313 (Urban Tribe, official tour DJ for Drexciya and acclaimed solo artist). Originally released as a limited edition in 2013 on Belgium's WéMè label, their sole album Commodified quickly went out-of-print and has been much sought after ever since - it's currently on 1,783 Discogs wants lists. For the initial reissue, we've produced a special transparent 2 x LP edition with the original album artwork screenprinted onto a PVC outer-sleeve, and two clear vinyl discs housed in transparent poly inner bags. This edition is limited to 2,000 copies worldwide and we don't expect them to stick around for long. There is also a standard CD edition containing 3 bonus tracks. If demand is there then we will follow up next year with a black vinyl 2LP in standard packaging. Learn More

SHERIF DHAIMISH & MARK O'DONNELL - How You Make Me Feel: The Life and Legacy of Marcus Intalex (BOOK)

    £25.00

Marcus Intalex was a universally revered drum & bass producer/DJ until his untimely death in 2017 and ‘How You Make Me Feel’ is a kaleidoscopic celebration of his trailblazing life and career. From emerging as a DJ on the rave scene in Burnley to surviving ‘Gunchester’ jungle raves and taking his era-defining D&B from Manchester to the world, before effortlessly switching to techno under his Trevino moniker, Marcus Intalex was at the bleeding-edge of club culture for nearly three decades. As close collaborator Martyn says, ‘Not many people can say they played at Berghain and Metalheadz nights.’ This illustrated oral history weaves together memories from Marcus’ inner circle, unpublished photos and artwork, and words from his closest friends and family. It’s the story of how a humble, restless soul created some of the most emotionally charged underground music of all time. And how his legacy lives on through a worldwide community of artists and music lovers he inspired along the way. Learn More
  11. VARIOUS - Basement Grooves Vol 3 EP

VARIOUS - Basement Grooves Vol 3 EP

    £17.99

The first release on this label came - as far we can tell, anyway - all the way back in 2022. Three years on, the second is another effective club weapon, this time with an electro twist. Pop Panic's 'Your Body' has mad heavy drums and maximal synth lines perfect for nice loud plays. Aut Zebel's 'Flipped Smile' takes off on a jacked up acid groove for peak time plays and DJ GLC lays in some high speed retro-future synth euphoria on 'Trance Dance' for emotional plays. G Punx shuts down with the gritted-teeth grooves and slamming bass of 'Electro Baked' for menacing plays. Learn More

VERSALIFE - Parallax Effect Pt 2 EP

    £18.98

Dutchman Boris Bunnik is a man of many moniker,s but here he returns as the electro-leaning Versalife with Parallax Effect PT.2, the second and final chapter in his series, which pushes his rhythmic vision into more elastic, unpredictable terrain. Shifting from the precision of PT.1, this release coils low-end pressure and restless sequences around percussive frameworks that flicker between tension and release. Each track feels alive-mechanically structured yet pulsing with organic energy unfolding in real time. The balance of restraint and propulsion gives the EP a kinetic, suspenseful edge which means that PT.2 doesn't just follow its predecessor; it refracts it, bending the narrative into new shapes. CARL FINLOW - Terminus EP

    £16.99

Human techno wildcard Carl Finlow drops his latest EP 'Terminus' through Fanzine Records, following up his pre-release fan exciter 'Phalanx'. No less than a futuristic electro EP, Finlow's chosen aesthetic permutation this time is snappy and high-end-centric, with saturated textures circumfusing designed, tire-puncturing beats. Desiccant sound design keeps the cool bag dry, as the war formation 'Phalanx' and its brilliantly named B-side complement 'Syncussion' break all the rules governing what one is "supposed" to do when making big-concept electro such as this. 21. KALCAGNI - Target Practice EP

    KALCAGNI - Target Practice EP

    £10.99

Naming his latest tunes 'Target Practice' and 'Improv', Spanish electro producer Kalcagni is determined to flaunt his care-less, unruffled streak, implying that the production of electro floor-haulage is a cakewalk. After all, the best among us eat bangers for breakfast! The A-siders rattle out like inexhaustible mags, as we hunt down bullet-holed cardboard cutouts of mortal enemies, spied in the reticle. It's only until after such an opening bloodbath that we find a moment to catch our breaths and put on a 'Clean Shirt', where rejuvenative acids resound between roomier beat. Finally, 'Drift N Shift' hears Kalcagni pack in his shift at the shooting range and steal away into a misty, chord-laden night, though the sense of urgency is not lost on us. Learn More
