  1. SEV DAH - PROLETARIJAT 012

    SEV DAH - PROLETARIJAT 012

    £15.49

High energy techno cuts from Sev Dah, a name that seems to be consistent in this field of music. Stripped back drum programming accompanied by punchy 909 kicks. I could imagine this to be played at an afterparty somewhere like BRET in Amsterdam. Learn More

  3. MARCELLUS PITTMAN - Eastside EP

    MARCELLUS PITTMAN - Eastside EP

    £15.49

Adeen Records is on a roll right now and this time out they welcome the Detroit hero that is Marcellus Pittman for a new and beguiling four-track 12". Known for his work with The 3 Chairs collective as well as his solo jams, this Motor City mainstay opens up with 'You Always Hank Bank One Time' which is a real mental maze of rickety loops and blurts of degraded synth. 'Another Spring Lover' is another rusty and lo-fi piece of archetypal Detroit house that is very clearly machine music but with a unique sense of human soul. 'I'm Gonna Be The Everything' is a raw drum track with sparse, heartwarming chords and 'Slick Nickle Pladium Investment' is a knackered downbeat hip-hop closer. Magnificent. Learn More

    £8.99

After a brief hiatus, we return with a four-track EP from Brooklyn based artist Significant Other. 'Club Aura’ is an obscure yet dreamy number featuring lazy low frequency plucks, an inviting sax line and wave-inspired ambience while ‘Mike’s Gone Back To Manchester’ lays focus on pulsating stabs, cold, syncopated percussion fused with shattering synths that patiently develop throughout. 8. JOSEPH S JOYCE - Vedanta Remixed

JOSEPH S JOYCE - Vedanta Remixed

    £15.98

Joseph S Joyce’s 2014 dub techno hit ‘Vedanta’ returns in 2023 with fresh remixes from El Choop, Sebastian Mullaert, Van Bonn, Federsen, Paul 90 and more, on this six-track vinyl and digital package, coming via his own Default Position imprint this June. The original "Vedanta", which featured remixes from the renowned Sebastian Mullaert, was met with acclaim and support from leading DJs such as Sven Väth and Joris Vorn. It was therefore only natural that a remix EP should follow. Nearly a decade on and El Choop opens this new release with his ‘Reconstruct’ twist. The Echocord artist lays down a typically raw and subtly nuanced rework before Sebastian Mullaert returns once again with an ‘Ambient Mix’ providing, as the name would suggest, a cinematic journey through washed-out chords and subtle melodies. 11. EKMAN - Entropy

    EKMAN - Entropy

    £13.49

Originally brought to light in 2014 by 'EKMAN' Aka. WILL BANKHEAD, Entropy receives a sought afrer repress. Admittedly on the darker side of the Techno realm.. The bass drums on side A feel almost industrial-esque, accompanied by crispy 808 machine patterns, topped off with great synth+fx work. On the flip side, we recieve more of an Electro-acid trip with some off kelter patterns and squelchy basslines beneath extra-terrestrial pads. Learn More
  12. SUCHI - Ghungroo EP

    SUCHI - Ghungroo EP

    £14.99

Suchi’s bouncy, airy productions are so organically deft that they almost belie the complexity that exists within. Prior to her !K7 debut the Oslo-born, London-bred, Delhi-influenced DJ and producer found herself in a period of creative stagnation, while attempting to rediscover her own voice through production. After going back to the drawing board again and again she resolved to let go of overthinking, eschew the process, and let experimentation lead the way, revisiting some simmering sketches and work in new ways. Ghungroo EP is the result of this reset, and rediscovers Suchi’s sense of playfulness through different production styles. It’s pressed on eco-friendly vinyl, PVR free and 100% recycled. . Learn More

  14. Lewis FAUTZI - Methods Of Nothing EP

Lewis FAUTZI - Methods Of Nothing EP

    £13.99

Portuguese techno master Lewis Fautzi returns home after a while with his trademark rugged and solid techno. For this release he provides four cuts of heavily pressurized dj tools, starting with Total Absence, starting with a solid groove spiced with bass enforced frequencies, the intensity grows as the bars go by using additional percussive layers and electrified drones floating over the beat. Paranoia comes next, clean and solid drums, elastic sequences and high pitched atmospheres collide in another mental workout. On the B side, Ground State provides another interpretation, in a more shuffled approach in the rhythms, precisely distorted and with the aid of a bleepy detail that appears from beyond the spectrum. Closing the Ep, Uncertainty is the most rugged exercise in this release, once again distortion is wisely used and the approach is more industrial than the previous cuts. One more proof of the expertise of this fundamental producer in today’s serious techno scene. Learn More
