Al Wootton returns to his label Trule with his second album “We Have Come To Banish The Dark”. The record is a product of dystopic times, taut with energy and restrained violence, yet never oppressive or nihilistic. The theme is one of unity, liberation and resistance to a darkening world, against the rising tide of fascism, hypercapitalism, and right wing politics. Yet there remains a constant hope and light, most evident in the downtempo roller “Devarim” and the closing bars of “May Your Angels Of Light Accept Him”. Learn More
FaltyDL debuts on Unknown To The Unknown with 4 elektroid-freak-out jams for the headz. From spazzed out drum work outs to IDM infused downtempo crackers. These show off Drew Lustman’s very experienced but still fresh take on the production game. Learn More
High energy techno cuts from Sev Dah, a name that seems to be consistent in this field of music. Stripped back drum programming accompanied by punchy 909 kicks. I could imagine this to be played at an afterparty somewhere like BRET in Amsterdam. Learn More

After a brief hiatus, we return with a four-track EP from Brooklyn based artist Significant Other. 'Club Aura’ is an obscure yet dreamy number featuring lazy low frequency plucks, an inviting sax line and wave-inspired ambience while ‘Mike’s Gone Back To Manchester’ lays focus on pulsating stabs, cold, syncopated percussion fused with shattering synths that patiently develop throughout. The third release on this white label series brings together some key members of the Aniara crew. Bergqvist returns with a magnificently minimalist track: a drum machine, a 303 bassline and resonating arpeggios swirling to the moon and back. Dorisburg follows up with an angular, spiraling beat where the devil is in the sizzling details. Genius of Time close out the record on the flip with another one of their signature organic drum workouts. Learn More
Fada returns with "Pinecone Variations" and that signature drumfunk, drum and bass sound with jazzy basslines and sparse paced out funk instruments. The focus is on the drummer and bass player. Learn More

Portuguese techno master Lewis Fautzi returns home after a while with his trademark rugged and solid techno.
For this release he provides four cuts of heavily pressurized dj tools, starting with Total Absence, starting with a solid groove spiced with bass enforced frequencies, the intensity grows as the bars go by using additional percussive layers and electrified drones floating over the beat.
Paranoia comes next, clean and solid drums, elastic sequences and high pitched atmospheres collide in another mental workout.
On the B side, Ground State provides another interpretation, in a more shuffled approach in the rhythms, precisely distorted and with the aid of a bleepy detail that appears from beyond the spectrum.
Closing the Ep, Uncertainty is the most rugged exercise in this release, once again distortion is wisely used and the approach is more industrial than the previous cuts.
One more proof of the expertise of this fundamental producer in today’s serious techno scene. Learn More
Originally brought to light in 2014 by 'EKMAN' Aka. WILL BANKHEAD, Entropy receives a sought afrer repress. Admittedly on the darker side of the Techno realm.. The bass drums on side A feel almost industrial-esque, accompanied by crispy 808 machine patterns, topped off with great synth+fx work. On the flip side, we recieve more of an Electro-acid trip with some off kelter patterns and squelchy basslines beneath extra-terrestrial pads. Learn More
This 12" perfectly represent how his style has been crafted during these years, a balanced mixture between his incredible ear for detail, tunnelling trips and tougher beats. Learn More
Once again Scottish heavyweights Duellist and iFormat join forces this time for Drøne. Their track, Rabid is a journey through twisted synth lines, driving percussion and punishing kick drums. It relentlessly pounds your brain for just under 6 minutes and doesn’t let up. You have been warned. Learn More
Nobu welcomes Japanese sound artist Doltz to his Bitta imprint. Doltz started his musical career in 1998 as a drummer in a hardcore punk band, and had a fateful encounter with DJ Nobu, who shares the same musical roots, when they were billed alongside each other at a party called 'Broad' in Fukuoka-city in the winter of 2022. Impressed by Doltz's live performance, DJ Nobu immediately booked him for his residency party 'reprise' at Womb Tokyo. Set the stage for Doltz’s sensational debut in Tokyo. Learn More
Joseph S Joyce’s 2014 dub techno hit ‘Vedanta’ returns in 2023 with fresh remixes from El Choop, Sebastian Mullaert, Van Bonn, Federsen, Paul 90 and more, on this six-track vinyl and digital package, coming via his own Default Position imprint this June.
The original "Vedanta", which featured remixes from the renowned Sebastian Mullaert, was met with acclaim and support from leading DJs such as Sven Väth and Joris Vorn. It was therefore only natural that a remix EP should follow.
Nearly a decade on and El Choop opens this new release with his ‘Reconstruct’ twist. The Echocord artist lays down a typically raw and subtly nuanced rework before Sebastian Mullaert returns once again with an ‘Ambient Mix’ providing, as the name would suggest, a cinematic journey through washed-out chords and subtle melodies. Suchi’s bouncy, airy productions are so organically deft that they almost belie the complexity that exists within. Prior to her !K7 debut the Oslo-born, London-bred, Delhi-influenced DJ and producer found herself in a period of creative stagnation, while attempting to rediscover her own voice through production. After going back to the drawing board again and again she resolved to let go of overthinking, eschew the process, and let experimentation lead the way, revisiting some simmering sketches and work in new ways. Ghungroo EP is the result of this reset, and rediscovers Suchi’s sense of playfulness through different production styles. It’s pressed on eco-friendly vinyl, PVR free and 100% recycled. . Learn More
Five years on from the release of his debut album, Gymnastics, Ramon Lisandro Quezada finally serves up a follow-up. Conjure is a fine set that neatly showcases the varied sides of the prolific deep house producer's output. So, we get Iberican tribal drums fused with hazy trumpet solos ("Feed Off Of"), dreamy ambience ("Candlelit"), groovy downtempo beats (the hip-hop influenced "Supafly"), sumptuous and sensual dancefloor deepness ("Lotus (In Memory Of)"), and dark, intense, occasionally dubbed-out late night business ("Whistle Song", "Visitation", the stripped-back hip-house of "Toc"). There's little in the way of filler or fluff, and plenty of playable, club-ready material. Learn More
