  1. DJ QU - Conjure (2 x LP)

    DJ QU - Conjure (2 x LP)

    £13.99

Five years on from the release of his debut album, Gymnastics, Ramon Lisandro Quezada finally serves up a follow-up. Conjure is a fine set that neatly showcases the varied sides of the prolific deep house producer's output. So, we get Iberican tribal drums fused with hazy trumpet solos ("Feed Off Of"), dreamy ambience ("Candlelit"), groovy downtempo beats (the hip-hop influenced "Supafly"), sumptuous and sensual dancefloor deepness ("Lotus (In Memory Of)"), and dark, intense, occasionally dubbed-out late night business ("Whistle Song", "Visitation", the stripped-back hip-house of "Toc"). There's little in the way of filler or fluff, and plenty of playable, club-ready material. Learn More
  2. AL WOOTTON - We Have Come To Banish The Dark 2x LP (Pre Order 11/08/23)

AL WOOTTON - We Have Come To Banish The Dark 2x LP (Pre Order 11/08/23)

    £20.99

Al Wootton returns to his label Trule with his second album “We Have Come To Banish The Dark”. The record is a product of dystopic times, taut with energy and restrained violence, yet never oppressive or nihilistic. The theme is one of unity, liberation and resistance to a darkening world, against the rising tide of fascism, hypercapitalism, and right wing politics. Yet there remains a constant hope and light, most evident in the downtempo roller “Devarim” and the closing bars of “May Your Angels Of Light Accept Him”. Learn More
  3. FADA - Pinecone Variations (2x LP)

FADA - Pinecone Variations (2x LP)

    £21.98

Fada returns with "Pinecone Variations" and that signature drumfunk, drum and bass sound with jazzy basslines and sparse paced out funk instruments. The focus is on the drummer and bass player. Learn More
