HALT - Memory Fields

HALT. are Craig Earp and Nathan Shwalbe. An electronic music duo from Birmingham UK, formed in the winter of 2019. As lifelong friends and collaborators - influenced by styles of Ambient, Drone, 1990’s IDM, Techno, and Soundtrack music - their productions radiate with emotion and natural chemistry. Throughout their music, themes of nostalgia, dream states, and the occult are prominent, often rooted in highly textured and atmospheric environments. A sound motivated by the industrial landscapes of their Brutalist home city and inspired by the likes of Autechre, BOC, Morricone & Abul Mogard etc. The spiritual successor to their debut Erbium track 'Transient Ridge', ‘Memory Fields’ marks the first full length album from HALT.
