Gerd is a real daddy of the Dutch scene. He has never really fit into a box, never really had his hyped up moment in the sun, but just consistently delivers high quality music that does a brilliant job when played nice and loud. Frame of Mind houses his latest missive, which kicks off with the jacked up percussive house excellence of 'Brave New Era' before 'Drive' swings on 1st, dumpy kicks and is topped with fine analogue percussion, as is Gerd's trademark. There's a wiry synth energy to the sleazy 'Nexus', 'Nebula' channels deep, dark cosmic atmospheres and 'Droid Romance' is run through with the spirit of aliens.
