The official sales note and PR are fairly enigmatic and mysterious out of respect for the wishes of the artists, but it's fairly widely shared public knowledge that NRSB-11 is primarily a collaboration between Gerald Donald (Drexciya, Dooplereffekt, Arpanet, Japanese Telecom and many more) and DJ Stingray 313 (Urban Tribe, official tour DJ for Drexciya and acclaimed solo artist). Originally released as a limited edition in 2013 on Belgium's WéMè label, their sole album Commodified quickly went out-of-print and has been much sought after ever since - it's currently on 1,783 Discogs wants lists. For the initial reissue, we've produced a special transparent 2 x LP edition with the original album artwork screenprinted onto a PVC outer-sleeve, and two clear vinyl discs housed in transparent poly inner bags. This edition is limited to 2,000 copies worldwide and we don't expect them to stick around for long. There is also a standard CD edition containing 3 bonus tracks. pianist/composer Aidan Shepherd and drummer Tim Carnegie - were invited to Mykonos as part of a collaboration between Maera Music and 22a, which allowed the band to spend a few days writing and recording some new music. It was an opportunity for the quartet to spend some time together in a secluded hillside villa without any distractions and ultimately kick start the writing process for a long overdue album. Macedonian artist Stojche kicks off Mutual Rytm Xs 2025 schedule with his blistering new EP, Stomping Ground. Atonement was one of those rare tracks where inspiration struck naturally. After a long day of corporate nonsense, I sat down in the evening to watch a certain series with my wife when the scene sampled in the intro came on. I wasn't planning to make music that night, but the mood and tension of that scene really resonated with me. I knew I had to sample it and exactly what kind of vibe the track needed. I went straight to the studio, and by the early hours, the bare bones of the track were done. Over the following weeks, I worked on developing it, but ultimately, I stripped it back to how it sounded in that first session: simple, powerful drums paired with a filthy, hypnotic bass groove. Gemini's In Neutral has long been considered a classic of the second wave of Chicago deep house. It was well-loved by aficionados upon its original release in 1997, though it didn’t achieve the broader recognition it deserved at the time. Since then, it’s been hard to find on vinyl—unless you're willing to pay the inflated prices online. That's why this licensed reissue from ChiWax is a welcome treat. In Neutral is still widely regarded as Gemini's finest work, blending pounding, hypnotic Detroit techno-inspired deep house tracks with some deeper, jazz-infused downtempo moments (such as "Ahi"). Sound Signature boss Theo Parrish does a fine job of keeping the majority of his vast back catalogue available to buy for all. It's a tough job, too, cause most of it sells out in a quick fashion, so he has to be on the ball with reissues. A couple are landing this month and 'You Forgot' is one of them. It was his label's 15th release way back in 2001 and for many, b-side cut 'Dirt Rhodes' is one of Parrish's best and most definite tracks. The grinding mechanical grooves that lock you into a hypnotic state are overlaid with perfectly knackered-sounding Rhodes chords and it makes for a magical listen. 'You Forgot' with its soulful vocal musings and perfunctory drum sounds is not bad either. Learn More

Encore has been remastered from the original tapes and features 11 compositions by Arthur Verocai who was joined by the legendary Azymuth, Ivan Lins and a nine-piece string section. The album was a long-awaited follow-up to his 1972 debut so bridges 35 years and bottles up Brazilian influences with American soul and cinematic experimentation. Initially overlooked amongst his wider canon, Verocai's debut gained cult status thanks to Far Out Recordings' Joe Davis who rediscovered it in the late 80s. In 2004, producer Dave Brinkworth brought Verocai back to the studio to reignite his musical brilliance. A master arranger, Verocai's work with Brazilian legends shaped his visionary sound and have helped to cement him as a timeless force in music history. Learn More

Born from the basement of Plastic People, the pressure has remained continuously on Eglo to keep the same foment of bass musical innovation that the club nurtured alive. Plastic People is a routinised object of nostalgia, and it is often deemed the last proper place for innovation in bass music before austerity Britain militated against it. Zed Bias's remix of Chunky's 'Dancing On Tables' with Metrodome - and the deep, bruk-inspired track, 'Minerals,' from Liverpool's rising star Sticky Dub - both prove this assessment totally wrong.
