The Land Down Dunder EP being the first, of hopefully, many releases throughout this new imprint. Learn More

    MORGAN GEIST - Premise EP

    £14.48

To celebrate 30 years since the launch of his now-iconic Environ label, Morgan Geist is revisiting where it all began—reissuing the long out-of-print debut 12", a solo EP that marked just his second release. At this early stage, Geist had yet to fully embrace the disco-infused, synth-rich sound he’s now synonymous with. Instead, the record finds him exploring the celestial edges of Detroit-inspired techno and jacking, spacey house. Learn More

BYRON THE AQUARIUS - Bring Dat Pain EP

    £15.49

Byron the Aquarius returns with another masterclass in soulful, jazz-tinged house music. The US producer’s signature touch on the keys and knack for crafting rich, emotive grooves is on full display with this latest release on Italy’s Frequencies Rhythm Life. Things kick off with the loose-limbed rhythm of House Is Black, setting a warm, hypnotic tone. Is She Here slides into deeper territory, weaving late-night moods with jazzy inflections and rolling claps. On Atlanta (dub), he pares things back for a more minimal yet potent feel, while KEMET hits harder with intricate percussion and airy melodies dancing through the mix. Wrapping it all up, Bamboo Bong takes us into a psychedelic swirl—closing out a release that’s both refined and adventurous. Learn More
  7. THEO PARRISH -Traffic Jams EP

    THEO PARRISH -Traffic Jams EP

    £17.99

Detroit innovator and singular soundsmith Theo Parrish returns with a new EP which we're told is his response to "stagnation and nonmovement" either physiologically, mentally or physically. 'Positive Mental Attitude Solves All' is up first and is a tribute to the late great funk-father Amp Fiddler. It's a typically deep cut with dusty drums and irregular, scruffy percussive lines layered in next to diffuse synth warmth and soulful melodies. 'Traffic Jams' plays with similar signature themes and is sure to loosen up mind, body and soul. Another standout bit of work from the venerable Motor City man. Learn More
  8. THEO PARRISH - You Forgot / Dirt Rhodes (Pre Order)

THEO PARRISH - You Forgot / Dirt Rhodes (Pre Order)

    £16.99

Sound Signature boss Theo Parrish does a fine job of keeping the majority of his vast back catalogue available to buy for all. It's a tough job, too, cause most of it sells out in a quick fashion, so he has to be on the ball with reissues. A couple are landing this month and 'You Forgot' is one of them. It was his label's 15th release way back in 2001 and for many, b-side cut 'Dirt Rhodes' is one of Parrish's best and most definite tracks. The grinding mechanical grooves that lock you into a hypnotic state are overlaid with perfectly knackered-sounding Rhodes chords and it makes for a magical listen. 'You Forgot' with its soulful vocal musings and perfunctory drum sounds is not bad either. Learn More

  11. GEMINI - In Neutral (2x LP)

GEMINI - In Neutral (2x LP)

    £28.49

Gemini's In Neutral has long been considered a classic of the second wave of Chicago deep house. It was well-loved by aficionados upon its original release in 1997, though it didn’t achieve the broader recognition it deserved at the time. Since then, it’s been hard to find on vinyl—unless you're willing to pay the inflated prices online. That's why this licensed reissue from ChiWax is a welcome treat. In Neutral is still widely regarded as Gemini's finest work, blending pounding, hypnotic Detroit techno-inspired deep house tracks with some deeper, jazz-infused downtempo moments (such as "Ahi"). The album also includes a stellar piece of early Chicago "boompty" with the standout track "?" Learn More
  12. DAM SWINDLE - Unfinished Business EP

DAM SWINDLE - Unfinished Business EP

    £15.49

Dutch duo Dam Swindle are masters of updating traditional house sounds with a subtle contemporary twist. That is exactly what they have long been doing on their own superb Heist Recordings label and now they make the step over to Jimpster's equally vital Freerange with a fresh new EP. 'Unfinished Business' kicks off with sustained chords that bring a classic touch next to some steamy vocals and warm chords. 'Under The Spell' is more loose limbed and soul drenched, then a Crue remix brings some real heft to 'Unfinished Business.' Last but not least is 'Woman', a laid back vibe with swirling chords for loved up floors. Learn More

  14. FRED EVERYTHING - Love Care Kindness & Hope LP

FRED EVERYTHING - Love Care Kindness & Hope LP

    £21.49

One day early in the global lockdown, Frédéric Blais scribbled four words on a Post-It note and pinned it up in his studio. When he headed to a studio in the mountains north of Montreal to start work on his fifth album as Fred Everything, those words went with him. They would not only provide inspiration during two weeks of isolated music-making, but ultimately provide the subsequent album with its title: Love, Care, Kindness and Hope. Learn More
  15. TONY ALLEN - Moyege (MARK ERNESTUS Remixes)

TONY ALLEN - Moyege (MARK ERNESTUS Remixes)

    £10.99

Not a nowadays-style remix, more an extended mix in the classical tradition headed by Tom Moulton, back in the days when Francois Kevorkian was his teaboy, and there was a cupboard in his office stuffed with Studio One master-tapes. This record brings to Afrobeat the dubwise intelligence of the discomix. It’s beautifully crafted, irresistibly grooving, heavy. Learn More
  16. KIRK DEGIORGIO - Elate EP

    KIRK DEGIORGIO - Elate EP

    £15.49

Kirk Degiorgio’s influence on electronic music cannot be overstated, having been responsible for producing some of the most emotive and soulful machine music dating right back to the early 90’s. As a leading figure in UK techno his As One, Elegy and Future/Past output on labels such as B12, R&S and his own Applied Rhythmic Technology (A.R.T.) have rightly become revered classics and helped shape ambient techno and what would come to be known as IDM/Future Electronica. His connection with Cyphon co-founder Jamie Odell also dates back to the turn of the millennium when Kirk invited Jamie to play keys on his 21st Century Soul LP released on Ubiquity and subsequently releasing an EP together under the name Super Aloof on Exceptional. 17. OLD BOYS VINYL SESSIONS - Is There A Place? EP

OLD BOYS VINYL SESSIONS - Is There A Place? EP

    £14.48

There's not much we can tell you about the identities of the "trusty producers" behind the Old Boys Vinyl Sessions project, other than that they have been making and releasing music under various aliases since the pre-MP3 days. It's easy to see why they want to avoid publicity, as what's an offer is a tasty house rework of a string-laden Blue Nile number from back in 1984. The opening 'Cloudburst Vox' wraps elements of the band's sultry, simmering original track (strings, vocals, pianos) and tech-house electronics around a locked-in house groove, while the accompanying 'Cloudburst Dub' strips out the vocals while retaining the gorgeous arrangements and druggy 21st century sounds. The extended flipside 'Torrent Vox' ramps up the strings and other picturesque sounds, inserting a simply stunning extended breakdown for good measure. Learn More

    £17.48

Makin' Moves kicks off 2025 with a scorching four-track EP from Detroit’s Javonntte, a producer whose deep connection to the city’s dynamic music scene can be felt in every beat. 'Satori' is more percussive with loopy drums and scintillating hi-hats dancing over the beats. 23. LERON CARSON - Lemonlime EP (Reissue) (Pre Order)

LERON CARSON - Lemonlime EP (Reissue) (Pre Order)

    £16.99

Leron Carson may not be the most widely recognized producer in the Midwest, but his career has deep roots. His first release dates back to 2001, when Theo Parrish released a track he'd recorded in 1987, and since then, Carson has made intermittent appearances on Parrish's Sound Signature label. His latest 12" release for Theo's label is a true standout! "Lemonline" is a smooth, breezy gem, where Carson's jazzy piano melodies effortlessly blend with vibrant, Latin-inspired rhythms. On the flipside, "Sofnthik" transports listeners to an undiscovered 1980s Chicago deep house vibe, with warm, soulful chords swirling around a choppy drum machine groove. It's unclear if it was recorded three decades ago, but it certainly captures that nostalgic lo-fi, analogue essence. Learn More
