Kalcagni is the underground electro moniker of Manchester-based producer and sound designer Jonny Strinati. Built around a hardware-led production approach, the project combines analogue synthesis, machine-driven rhythms and cinematic sound design into a futuristic sonic transmission.

After debuting in 2022 on Spain’s respected Distrito 91 label, Kalcagni founded Cosmoba, a boutique imprint dedicated to his own sci-fi-infused electro and breaks. Driven by a strong DIY ethos, it has served as the primary outlet for his self-released material. He now joins 20/20 Vision’s Exit Planet Earth imprint for his next release, with his “Subsonic EP” dropping in late September.
