Justin Mann, aka Minor Forms, is a London based producer and DJ who has been steadily carving out his own space within the drum & bass scene.
As a producer, he has built up a catalogue of hard hitting releases on highly respected labels including Flexout Audio, V Recordings, Symmetry Recordings and many more. His music moves across a broad range of styles within drum & bass, from rolling, tech driven cuts to deeper and more atmospheric productions, while maintaining a sound that feels distinctly his own.
His musical influences stretch well beyond drum & bass, drawing from ambient, drone, techno and a wide range of electronic music. These influences come together in a sound that places as much emphasis on atmosphere, texture and detail as it does on rhythm, energy and movement.
Alongside producing, Minor Forms has been developing his presence behind the decks, playing across the UK and further afield in Europe. His sets bring together tech funk rollers, deeper cuts and more melodic tunes, moving between different sides of the genre while keeping a strong sense of flow and identity.
With plenty more music and projects in the works, Minor Forms is building on the strong foundations he has already laid, with plenty more to come.
