Garrett David returns to his own Global Swing imprint for the first time in nearly four years with a four-track EP that moves between nostalgic garage-house and loose-limbed deep house soul. The A-side opens with 'Come Closer', where Fairlight stabs, bleeping melodies and sparkling piano riffs ride shuffling beats and a jazzy TB-303 bassline, followed by the dreamy 'One & Only' featuring Shanny. Side B turns sleazier and more spaced-out with 'Kiss N Fly' before closing on the classy, colourful 'Field Notes'.
