Hereafter's debut record lands with DOTT already behaving a little strangely. '1995 Revival' hangs haunted vocal fragments over snappy drums, with an acid line occasionally poking its head through just to unsettle things further. 'Grumpy Merlin' is brilliantly simple: one menacing synth phrase, a deep sub underneath, job done. 'Drunken Tune' gets dreamier, floating synths carried by a playful bassline that has a slight stumble to it, and JUAAN then toughens the track up for later hours, keeping that dripping melody and giving the rhythm a more electro-minded kick.
