Some 15 years after he first joined forces with Clone, long-serving NYC deep house and garage-house icon Jovonn is back on the Dutch imprint's popular Royal Oak offshoot. He's in body-moving peak-time deep house mode on opener 'Panorama', peppering a smooth deep house groove with dreamy chords and tight organ stabs, while 'Road Trip' is a breezier and looser affair rich in bubbly, post-acid electronics, swinging deep house beats and attractive piano loops. Over on side B, Jovonn reaches for futurist electronics and warming chords (the spacey and lovely 'The Opening 1'), before doffing a cap to Clone's home city on the driving, spaced-out and hypnotic 'Rotterdam Station'.
